S.M.A. Karate CANADA is excited to announce our Recreational and Competition Seasons!
Kids, teens, and adults alike are welcome to join our competition training programs, designed to prepare participants for events at the regional, provincial, and national levels.
Our competition seasons runs from September through March or April (depending on the year), with training beginning as early as August for both recreational and competitive athletes.
At S.M.A. Karate CANADA, we offer a wide range of opportunities to compete, whether you’re looking for fun and personal challenge or aiming for elite performance.

2023-24 COMPETITION TEAM
S.M.A. Karate CANADA is proud to announce our recreational and competitive Kata, Kumite and Team Kata teams. We are looking forward to seeing our team kata group develop.
The S.M.A. Karate CANADA competition team members are excited to start their training. Training sessions are held every month from December to March-April to get ready for the first season.
We are excited to see how our athletes develop over the next coming months for their first competition. They are training hard and looking forward to meeting other athletes on the tatamis.

Presenting Murielle
Karate Events
Throughout the year, Murielle attends open tournaments, provincial tournaments and attends in more than one training convention per year. At the 2019 Ontario Karate Federation (OKF) Tournament she placed in both Kata and Kumite divisions.

Throughout the year, JJ attends open and provincial tournaments and attends in more than one training convention per year. This year JJ placed in the 2019 Ontario Karate Federation (OKF) Tournament in the Kumite division and is attending Nationals.
